Google Docs can't do cross referencing and section numbers so I decided to try LibreOffice… 6 crashes in one evening… time to give OpenOffice a spin again, now that it's been donated to Apache.

A new non-cloud collaborative code editor. Could work well in #education settings to allow tutorial members to reach a solution together.

It stems from a Google project that's not going to see the light of day in its original form.

ACTA is history.

Media lawyers are easily startled, but they'll soon be back, and in greater numbers.

Hmmm… anyone else having sync problems with file mode bits (permissions) on Google Drive?

e.g.

I have a local and remote machine each syncing to the same account.
On the remote machine I `chmod -R 777 *`
Ten minutes later on a local machine I `chmod -R 755 *`
Several minutes later the remote copy is not picking up the change and remains as 777.

#googledrive   #gdrive   #chmod   #permissions   #sync   #lazywebdeployment
