Blue Sky 14 Mile Run
February 7th, 2004, by Rich.
With blue skies and a not too strong south-westerly blowing, this was a much nicer run than last Saturday. 2 hours from start to finish and 14 miles covered.

I also tried out two new things…
- Running with a bottle, which was very successful, and meant I was able to top up on isotonic drinks all the way round - not so important for 13 miles but for 26 your body needs to be used to both (a) running and (b) refueling on the go.
- Jelly Babies, as recommended by Runners World, also fit in the pouch on my waistband, most people enjoyed these as we went through a stile on the harbour.
