I succumbed to peer pressure today and bought a Wii. It’s still in it’s box and it smells very new. The release of both Mariokart and Wii Fit was what tipped the scale. Wii numbers and mingling will no doubt follow.

Back in the last century after Netscape merged with AOL, a 3-year deal was struck between AOL and Sun Microsystems such that the Professional Services groups from Sun and Netscape would work together on projects that benefited both companies. The Netscape server software became (to all intents and purposes) jointly owned and developed, and [...]

The Nintendo Wii has now enjoyed it’s first week of sales and stories are floating around the net that the wireless controller (mentioned previously) has been finding itself airborne due to players getting sweaty hands. Videos of the problem are already surfacing.

The Sony Bravia Advert with the thousands of bouncy balls is certainly one of the most visually striking pieces of advertising art from the last few years, so it was only a matter of time before it was copied.

BoingBoing just featured the smiley-face crater that can be seen on Mars (or if you can’t see that far, on the ESA Mars Express website). Yes, it’s got two eyes, a little nose and a smile, but this looks too much like the Millennium Falcon to ignore.
