I’ve managed to get this (wordpress based) website moved over to a permalink structure using apache rewriting - that will mean absolutely nothing to non-teccy people, but, users of my MostWanted plugin who have asked if it can work with permalinks will be pleased to know that I can now do the necessary tweaking to make it happen.
