Today, November 9th, sees the official release of Mozilla Firefox 1.0. Firefox is a highly sophisticated and (above all) safe web browser which is available for most commonly used computing platforms.

Those of us who’ve been involved in Mozilla since it’s spin-off from Netscape on 31st March 1998 are obviously a bit pleased by today’s birth. The release of 1.0 is a landmark because Firefox is now in a fully stable and tested form that can be officially sanctioned and supported within large organisations.
