Cool, I just got a ping from Jeremy to say that the second podcast is out. Now that's personal service! :D

So I was sitting on the sofa chatting to Rich via IM yesterday evening - about the intricacies of little-endian/big-endian IP addressing - when he drew my attention to the imagery in his latest post; this one.

My two boys came and set next to me to see what I was up to. Consider that Isaac is 3 and Joshi is 2.

Isaac queried, "Dad, why is that penguin listening to an iPod?". Joshi echoed, "iPod!". I have an iPod (4G 40GB for you iPod freaks out there), but I rarely use it with the earphones. Yet he still recognised the pop-art colours and white cable imagery as something to do with iPods.

I wonder if this is an example of Apple's powerful marketing campaign attracting an ever younger audience?

Nice idea, Penguin. I'll subscribe to your podcast tonight after I've downloaded my free single of the week.

Interesting fact about penguins; they do not have teeth.

Rich

thanks for spotting the podcast and for mentioning it on your site. I'll try and get the levels right for podcast 2!

We'll add trackbacks to the blog - this is all new for us and a steep learning curve.

thanks again
