MS to work with Joyent to make and deliver a native windows node.exe file. This is so, so, important to the accepetance and re-emergence of JavaScript as a major laguage that gets taken seriously. Two years ago node surprised everyone. Now it looks like it might be poised to become a key tool in the sedimentation of Web Technologies across all desktops (or at least those that aren’t entirely browser-based).
