I've noticed another old friend of mine standing talking by our gate. She is Jennifer Milne (Jen), formerly Jennifer Rigden, of Sketty
Her daughter Rebecca Milne came to our street party, I think, as they lived on Gower Goad where obviously a party was out of the question.

Hi Kath! I've uploaded the video to Google so that downloading and keeping a copy should be easy.

Just...

click on the little
Google
button in the video player,

select
Go to Google Video
from the little menu that pops up,

once you're on the Google page, you'll see a
Download
button which should let you choose your preferred format.

An alternative way of finding the videos on google is to search Google Video for the word Wimmerfield.

Thanks for the trip down memory lane. I saw my grandparents June and Trevor Petherbridge. My grandfather sadly passed away last year. I know my mother would love to see this and my daughter when she’s old enough to appreciate it. Would it be possible for you to email the clip to me. Thanks.

Heol = Road
glas nant = blue stream.
BUT in this instance, Glasnant was the family name of the local family doctors who operated in Killay
Iorwerth Jones and Gwent Jones were highly respected doctors who founded the Killay Surgery. Iorwerth died as a reeult, aledgedly, of overwork during the Asian Flu Epedemic in the late 1950's. Gwent went on for a while after. The family home was Olchfa House, (now a restaurant), next door to Olchfa shcool.
Gryffudd ap Gwent (son of Gwent) was, I believe prominent in Plaid Cymru for a while in the sixties

Rich
You looked beautiful in your spotty shirt and blue crown!
Also lovely to see Mum and her sister Joan (who sadly left us this year.)
Dad would have been amazed to see what could be achieved with his films!!!
I hope you have loads of responses from people who recognise themselves on/in these happy memories!
Mum X
