At about the same time as you were developing your fear of all things punk, I was trying to find students who would be willing to stand in the centre of Swansea on a Saturday to rattle charity boxes.

Of all the hundreds of youngsters available, only two volunteers showed up.... and they were both decidedly punk... all in black and funny pins stuck everywhere.

Not only did they do a full day collecting, they raised hundreds of pounds for the charity too.... and we had a lovely letter of thanks from the charity.... but the cynic in me has to ask the question... maybe everyone was as scared as you?

Not read it, but watched the related TV programme where he had a bunch of school-kids brokering arms deals. I might pop along to Eastleigh (sold out, no ticket for me) to pick up a copy after the gig.
