I worked with DR in 1998-1999 on a project called the Millennium Club. Getting him to pay me was a constant struggle. He has no morals. When I started getting shirty he eventually made me a director of this sham to try to appease me.We were even investigated by The Argus but he wriggled out of that one. He scarred me for a long time and when I turned up in 2007 again applying for a job at Satcover, not knowing that he was running this company, he wanted to meet me privately to find out if I was a journalist digging up his dodgy ways. Initially in the 90`s he employed me because ” I was good at research and digging”. It was one of the worst times of my life. He is now just a few months into his sentence and I hope that I get to meet him again one day and tell him what`s on my mind and that if I ever get a chance to smack him in the mouth, I will. Dear Dave Reynolds. One Christmas down, 2 or 3 to go. I remember telling his girlfriend Andrea that he was a vile man and that I had had enough. The best news I have had for 13 years is that he is now inside jail. Does anyone know which one?

Dozy me! I’ve only just realised what has happened as I have never had to phone SatDirect with a problem but have been happily paying every month until I cancelled the £6.50 a month DD yesterday How do I get my money back and who has beenm collecting it?

Satellite Direct UK is still trying to rip people off they phoned me 2day at 8:30pm saying my satellite warranty is about to expire and i don’t even have satellite, but they had my name address phone number and postcode so be careful

Satellite aftercare is still trading and ripping people off, they have been taking money out of my account for a service that I never wanted or needed, I’ve looked in to this company and they are all the same but just changing the name and their directors and managers. STAY WELL CLEAR OF ANY SATELLITE DIRECT OR AFTERCARE COMPANY THEY ARE ALL A CON>

It cannot be Sat Cov, Mick. Sounds like Sat Insure who bought some of the old Sat Cov data. They were given bank and credit card details by the administrators (probably illegally) and had to promise to get peoples agreement before charging them. It doesn’t sound too much like they are bothering with such niceties though. You should complain to your bank and to the administrators.

DIRECT DEBITS
Beware Sat Cov are at it again. They have tried to open a Direct Debit account on my Account this week 12th Aug 2010. The Account was set up under the name of DIRECT DEBITS si-0170839.

I have today received a call from this company.

I have however, heard about this scam in the past so was already armed when they called.

They are STILL using the same number 0871 265 9865

They told me that my warranty with THEM had ran out on the 18th of last month..

When I confronted them saying that they were talking b*ll*cks and my cover was with Domestic and General they simply said that they would amend my records and hung up

So, these guys are STILL active and STILL scamming

They are scammers Kim. They list their business activity at Companies House as “Grow cereals and other crops” – I imagine that is just a dodge to avoid being prosecuted by Sky. Call your bank or credit card company and get your money back. Tell your local trading standards office too. There’s laws about failing to provide a service you are taking money for.

Hi, it would appear that my father may have been scammed by Sky – Pro Plan Ltd (that is how is shows the name on the paperwork). If anyone has any info please share. Engineers don’t turn up, have now taken an annual renewal from his account and now no reply to calls. Checking Company House there is a company registered as Sky-Proplan Ltd, but I can’t find anything on it from the web.
