Rich, have you considered donating scans of the images to the UK National Archives ? I think they can be embargoed until a specific date or event if required.

Hi I loved your photos...I am interested in LLOYDS CORNER as I am related to the LLOYDS and I believe thats how the name came about as my grandparents family owned 2 antique shops- one on each corner. Do you have any other pics of Lloyds corner at all?

As the oldest remaining 'Breeze' of this line, I'm afraid I cannot remember any connection with The Potteries, but that isn't to say there wasn't one.

My name is Michelle Brownlea, and I live in Tasmania, Australia. I am writing to you regarding my family connection to Olive Breeze. The following is all the information I have regarding my grandmother. Would you be able to add any additional information?

My father Stephen Payne Tivy born 8 June 1936 (England).

Dad was adopted by Charles Payne Tivy and Olive Breeze. They ran some type of school/home for deaf children (?).

It is possible that this was Charles' second marriage. Quoting the Dublin Papers newspaper, they were married August 5 1933 at St Mary's Parish Church, Upton, by the Rev Canon R H Bellamy, B.A. "Charles was the second son of the late John Lawrence and Mrs Tivy, of Dublin, to Olive, fifth daughter of Richard and the late Mrs Breeze of Liverpool."

Some of the people named in my dad's album include:
Violet and Pink Stapleton
Agnes
Muriel
Aunt Fanny
Lady named Bray(?)
Dr O'Grady
J.B Tivy of H.M.S Trent
Jack Mitchell
Edith Crompton
A lady named Kate with a toddler named Verena
A child named Verena
Verena & Peter (aged 4 - 6)
Verena as a teenager with a young boy named Harry
Joy Tivy and Betty (surname unreadable)
A housekeeper named Christina Fitzpatrick.
Mrs Monk (Muriel's Great Great Great Grandmother)
J.H. Peyton

A letter referring to "Ruth", from Olive Breeze, addressed 131 London Road, Reading Berks, England, dated 1960.

This is everything I know about Dad and his connection to the Breeze family. I'm hoping that you may recognise some of the names.

Kind regards,

Michelle.

I think Teddy was mine. He survived well until eaten by Dumbo in about 1976 by which time he would have been in his mid thirties... far too young to meet his end, but Dumbo was very jealous of him and ensured that he was beyond repair.

The lovely pic of Mum was taken when she was 20

I think the fourth person with the bikes may have been Ronnie Moore. The three boys all met at the '8th Wallasey' Scouts and there were loads of pics of them camping. Their favourite site was Llanrhyeder (?) in Mid Wales. My Uncles Jack Breeze and Len Breeze were also scouts, along with Dad, Harry Breeze
