My father Stephen Payne Tivy born 8 June 1936 (England).

Dad was adopted by Charles Payne Tivy and Olive Breeze. They ran some type of school/home for deaf children (?).

It is possible that this was Charles’ second marriage. Quoting the Dublin Papers newspaper, they were married August 5 1933 at St Mary’s Parish Church, Upton, by the Rev Canon R H Bellamy, B.A. “Charles was the second son of the late John Lawrence and Mrs Tivy, of Dublin, to Olive, fifth daughter of Richard and the late Mrs Breeze of Liverpool.”

A letter referring to “Ruth”, from Olive Breeze, addressed 131 London Road, Reading Berks, England, dated 1960.

This is everything I know about Dad and his connection to the Breeze family. I’m hoping that you may recognise some of the names.
