My son aged 13 wants to do a LAMDA course which iis quite expensive. I feel he is too young as he will have an opportunity to do over the next five years also. But I dont know much about it. Whats your advice?

Came across your posting while trying to find info on what to expect from my own viva voce – which (as soon as the examiners are named) will hopefully take place before too long. . . .

While I appreciated hearing of your enjoyment of the event, I fear the worst for my own. There’s always so much more out there to be known, considered, understood. . . . and I just have this fear that the examiners are going to pick the one thing I don’t know and hammer me on it!

Here’s hoping that I’ll be writing the same after my own experience, namely: “It was actually enjoyable AND hearing ‘You pass’ does give a rather tingly feeling.”
