I have a Mrs Beeton’s ALL ABOUT COOKERY with my grandmothers name and year of marriage 1929 written in the flyleaf. good condition, all pages present, some wear to spine. interested in an interested buyer. am in australia.

It is the Deluxe 7th edition which would be from the 1960′s

If your mum’s copy is a more simple beige and orange economic version it could be from 1930′s.

1st edition was printed 1907.
1st deluxe edition was printed 1955.

Hey I have Mrs Beeton’s Family Cookery!! I’m not too sure when it was published but I’m guessing early 1900….. Can anyone shed some light on this please? Woud be very greatful as I can’t find much info about it!!! Very interesting to read through almost like stepping back in time. Please help and contact me if interested.

I have a copy of “Mrs Beeton’s All About Cookery” and “circa 1885″ has been noted in faint pencil on one of the pages by someone. It has two coloured plates, 4 pages of sepia adverts in the front. It was a 21st birthday present and the person who gave it to me wrote a little message on one of the blank pages. Otherwise its in good condition though the first page has come lose as the binding has stretched a bit but the page is still there.

It features Aunt Kate’s Cookery Book, Baking Book, Jams & Jellies, Cake & Candy, Handy Hints and Mother’s Book. I don’t know what the publish date is.
